Grand Hogback Extravaganza
This event is a "FUN"draiser for the Rifle Area Mountain Biking Organization.
Saturday, October 2, 2021
Registration opens at 8:45 am and closes at 9:45 am.
Riders will have an opportunity to choose the time they start their ride during a 1 hour window, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Remember, this is NOT A RACE but a showcase ride on Phase 1 of the Grand Hogback Trails. The fun begins when riders will stop at stations along the 6.4 miles of intermediate trails to roll the Dirty Dice, earning points along the way. Prizes will be awarded at 12:00 for the top 3 highest rollers that day! But wait, there's more! Stick around for the chance to win raffle prizes AND the top 3 BEST RAMBO COSTUMES get some top notch recognition!
REMEMBER- Racing is discouraged! Cruising is encouraged!
$25 registration fee to be completed online or in person. Please bring exact cash or check!
Snacks and drinks will be provided until we run out!
Cell service is spotty, so plan accordingly.
All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
While this is a family friendly, all ages event, the Grand Hogback Extravaganza may be a bit challenging for inexperienced, younger riders. We want everyone to have a great time so just use your best judgement when considering small children in tow. Should you have questions about the trail or event, please stop by the registration tent and a friendly RAMBO volunteer will do their best to help.
